ECA Membership- Now is the Time!Dear Elizabeth Neighbor:
If you have already renewed your ECA Membership for 2009, thank you. You will
be receiving your welcome letter and stickers by mail very soon- as
early as this week- plus an extra surprise in your packet. This year we’ve
added a new component to ECA membership we think you’ll enjoy: ECA membership
cards. In conjunction with our neighborhood business members, ECA members
will enjoy a variety of benefits offered by ECA businesses. There are two
ways to stay connected: (1) visit the ECA website, www.elizabethcommunity.com
for information and news, and (2) sign up for Lizbizpromos,
our new email notification program, to receive updates on promotions offered
exclusively to ECA members.
And what if you’ve not yet joined the ECA? If not- there is no better time than NOW! Our theme this year is LIZ GOES GREEN. Not only are we intent on preserving our tree canopy, but we are also keen on supporting our neighborhood’s many unique restaurants and businesses- all within walking distance! The ECA is your neighborhood voice, and your support is vital.
We think (and know you do, too) that Elizabeth is a wonderful place to live. Its unique vibe of people, pets, and places make it one of Charlotte’s most unique neighborhoods. Your twenty dollar contribution will help keep the ECA working on behalf of ALL of Elizabeth’s residents.
Membership dues are $20 per household annually and are based on a calendar year. If you are a new member, we'll send you a welcome package with area restaurant menus, local business brochures, ECA stickers and other information on historic Elizabeth.
Your membership contributions are appreciated and could go to any of the
following:
- Newsletter and website
- Beautification in common areas

Our Big E race which is the oldest running race in Charlotte
- Tree
Replacement Program
- Annual events like the Progressive Dinner, Holiday
Party, Halloween Truck or Treat, Easter Egg Hunt, Elizabeth Homes Tour, Annual
Dinner, Block Party and more
