Servers are applicable to sites needing
Linux technology only.

We offer two dedicated server
plans to meet a variety of needs. Dedicated servers provide
you with additional flexibility, and additional CPU and
bandwidth capacity over our standard packages.
Network capacity
Our network is fully capable of handling the bandwith
needs of the most robust of sites. With a full-duplex,
100 megabit connection to Verio, and DS3 connections
to other providers, including Frontier Globalcenter
and CRL, we have bandwidth available for immediate
growth.
Network operations center
NOC includes proven power protection with UPS and
a diesel generator capable of handling power-outages
of up to 24 hours in length. Our network uptime
over the last 18 months has exceeded 99.9%.
Reliability
We proactively monitor hardware, typically identifying
problems before they occur. All dedicated servers
include daily tape backups, and since hardware is
owned so downtime is minimized in the event of a
hardware failure.
Customer service
Dedicated servers, like our production webservers,
are monitored by a live person 24 hours per day.
Should the need arise, dedicated server customers
can contact the TierraNet NOC to reboot servers,
or provide technical support. TierraNet offers a
unique level of customer service which you won't
get at many providers. |

This system is also well-suited for offloading bandwidth
and CPU-intensive operations from a standard package
to improve performance. TierraNet offers special
incentives in this case; contacts us for details.
Root access is provided, giving you the ability
to install any 3rd-party software, however support
is not provided for such software.

our production webservers, and is intended for resellers
who wish to host multiple accounts on a single machine.
The installed control panel and services closely
mirror the control panel and services which are
offered on our standard accounts. Root access is
not provided.
Multiple packages #1, #2, and #3 can be hosted on
a single machine. Each additional account is $2.00/month
(plus bandwidth charges).
Package #4 accounts can be hosted for $30/month
(plus bandwidth charges).

Bulk bandwidth
| When bandwidth exceeds
1Mbps, the customer may elect to switch to 95th-percentile
billing per megabit ($1000/Mbps/month). |
Bandwidth is measured by a backbone
router or by the statistics system. TierraNet will
make utilization graphs available throughout the
time period.
Monthly fees and bandwidth are billed monthly after
each period, and are due within 30 days. Service
is subject to cancellation after invoices become
60 days overdue. Setup fee and first month are due
prior to server setup.
SSL is provided via a separate account on a separate
production system (of the form https://www.keysecure.com/yourname.com/),
OR with purchase of Stronghold server.
Upgrades and other server configurations are available
by arrangement at a later date.
